What you do

Cozy Peaks Solitaire is TriPeaks solitaire, the card game where 28 cards sit in three overlapping peaks and you clear them by playing any card one rank higher or lower than the waste card, whatever its suit. Ranks wrap around, so an Ace plays on a King or a Two. The bottom row starts face up and every other card turns over once both cards on top of it are gone. When nothing plays, you turn the next card from the stock, which ends your streak, and each card in a streak scores more than the one before. Clear all 28 cards to win the hand. The peaks stand on a hillside garden with a small village of animal neighbors. Some cards carry a crop sticker, and clearing one picks the crop. Three neighbors at a time order crops, like Rosie Rabbit asking for five carrots, and filling an order pays coins and plants something new in the garden. Spring, summer, autumn and winter each bring three crops and a set of orders, and after winter comes the Harvest Festival. Coins buy three helpers: a Wild card that anything plays on, five more cards for an empty stock, and extra undos. Every hand also has three free undos. Nothing is timed, losing a hand never takes anything away, and your garden saves on this device.

  • Standard TriPeaks rules: 28 cards in three peaks, one rank up or down on the waste card, Aces and Kings wrap, and a 23-card stock.
  • Big, high-contrast cards sized to the bottom row of ten, with a four-color deck so every suit has its own shape and color.
  • Streak scoring (10, 20, 30 points and up for each card in a row), a bonus for each peak top and a bigger one for clearing the board.
  • Garden orders from eight animal neighbors across four seasons of twelve crops, ending in a Harvest Festival, then endless orders.
  • Helpers bought with coins you earn in play: a Wild card, Five more cards and extra undos, plus three free undos every hand.

How to play

  1. Press Start playing. The 28 cards on the three peaks are dealt from one deck. The bottom row of ten is face up, one card starts the waste pile, and the other 23 wait in the stock.
  2. Tap any face-up card that is exactly one rank above or below the waste card, whatever its suit. Ranks wrap: an Ace plays on a King or a Two, and a King on a Queen or an Ace. The card you play becomes the new waste card.
  3. A face-down card turns over once both cards overlapping it are gone. Clear all 28 cards to win the hand.
  4. When nothing plays, tap the stock to turn its next card onto the waste. That ends your streak. Each card in a streak scores 10 points more than the one before, a peak top adds 100, and clearing the board adds 500 plus 50 for each card left in the stock.
  5. Cards with a crop sticker give you that crop when you clear them. Three neighbors at a time order crops at the top of the screen. Filling an order pays coins and grows the garden, and filling a season’s last order brings the next season.
  6. When the stock is empty and nothing plays, the hand is over: use a helper, or tap Next deal. Crops and coins you collected are always kept.

Controls

  • Touch or mouse: tap a card to play it, tap the stock to turn a card, and use the Wild, +5 cards, Undo and New deal buttons under the piles.
  • Keyboard: the arrow keys move between the face-up cards and the stock, Enter or Space plays the card or turns the stock, D draws, U undoes and W plays a Wild card.
  • New deal starts a new hand (the stock becomes a Next deal button when a hand is over). Restart in the toolbar replays the same deal from the start and keeps your garden, coins and orders. The toolbar also has pause, help, optional sound and fullscreen.

Tips worth knowing

  • Before you play, look at what each choice leads to. The longest run of face-up cards you can see is usually the best one, and the streak points climb with every card.
  • When two cards fit, play the one that turns over a face-down card. More face-up cards means more choices for the next waste card.
  • Count what is buried. If all four 7s are already out of the peaks, there is no point keeping a 6 or an 8 in reserve for them.
  • Draw from the stock only when nothing plays. Every card you save in the stock is worth 50 points, and 2 coins, if you clear the board.
  • Keep a Wild card for the end of a hand. With a few cards left and nothing playing, one Wild card can start the run that clears the board.

Accessibility

  • Everything can be played with a keyboard: the arrow keys move a visible focus between face-up cards and the stock, Enter or Space plays, and D, U and W draw, undo and play a Wild card.
  • Nothing is timed and there is no streak pressure. The game waits for every move.
  • Card ranks are large and bold, and each suit has its own shape and color (black spades, red hearts, blue diamonds, green clubs).
  • A card that does not fit gives a gentle shake and says which ranks it needs, such as Needs a 6 or an 8.
  • Reduced motion turns off the flying cards, flips, shakes and glowing buttons. Sound is optional and never needed to play.

Questions

Is Cozy Peaks Solitaire the same as TriPeaks?

Yes. The hand follows standard TriPeaks rules: one 52-card deck, 28 cards in three overlapping peaks, the bottom row face up, a 23-card stock, and any card one rank above or below the waste card plays, with Aces and Kings wrapping around. The garden orders, coins and helpers are added around the hand and never change those rules.

What happens when I lose a hand?

Nothing is taken away. Every crop and coin you collected stays yours, and you can deal a new hand or restart the same deal from the toolbar. Each card’s crop and coin can be collected only once per deal, so replaying a deal does not pay them twice.

What do the helpers do and what do they cost?

A Wild card (100 coins) goes on the waste pile: any card plays on it and your streak keeps going. Five more cards (75 coins) adds five new cards to an empty stock when nothing plays. Three undos cost 50 coins, on top of the three free undos every hand gets. A new garden starts with one Wild card and one Five more cards. There is nothing to buy with real money.

How long does it take to reach the Harvest Festival?

The four seasons have 24 orders in all. In simulated gardens, a casual player needed 32 to 38 hands (34 on the median) and a careful one 28 to 33. We have not timed real players, so we count hands rather than minutes. Your garden saves on this device, so you can play a hand at a time.
