Choose a garden on the menu, or play today's garden. Garden 1 is a small lawn with mice and one rabbit, made for learning the rules.
Rake the glowing pile first: it is always empty. Then rake every pile that has no animal under it. Raking a pile with no sleepers around it opens its empty neighbors too.
A raked pile shows how many animal tiles are in the eight piles around it. The chips under the header list the animals still hidden and their shapes.
A mouse fills 1 pile, a rabbit 2 piles in a line, a hedgehog 3 piles straight or bent, and a badger 4 piles in a square or a T. Shapes can be turned or flipped, and animals never touch, not even diagonally.
Lay a blanket on a pile you know hides an animal. When blankets cover an animal exactly and every pile around it is raked, it is tucked in, and a dashed ring marks the piles around it as empty.
A wrong rake wakes an animal and costs an acorn. After three wakes, try the garden again. Rake every empty pile to finish the garden and open the next one.
Controls
Touch: tap a pile to rake it. Hold a pile, or switch the Rake button to Mark, to lay or lift a blanket. Hint lights a pile you can prove is empty.
Mouse: click to rake and right-click to lay or lift a blanket. Keyboard: arrow keys or WASD move, Space or Enter rakes (or marks in Mark mode), M or F lays or lifts a blanket, T switches Rake and Mark, and H shows a hint.
Toolbar: pause, help, restart (starts the garden on screen over; open gardens, best results and other gardens stay) and fullscreen. The game has no sound.

How to play Leaf Pile Nap
A cozy Minesweeper-style puzzle: rake autumn leaf piles without waking the napping animals. Their shapes are known, they never touch, and no garden needs a guess.
