Press Start digging. The mole starts on the grass above the garden. Press Down to dig into the soil below.
Each move costs energy. Digging costs the most and harder soil costs more. Climbing up a tunnel costs a little, and walking along one costs very little.
Dig into a treasure to put it in your bag. The bag has a few slots; when it is full, treasures stay where they are until you come back for them.
Watch the energy bar. The marker on it and the number beside it show how much energy it takes to get home. When they get close, press Home or walk back up yourself.
On the grass your finds sell for coins by themselves and your energy fills up. Spend coins in the Shop on claws, a lunchbox, a backpack, a lantern and boots.
Stone, deep rock and crystal rock need stronger claws. Dig all the way to the bottom row, pick up the Star Seed and carry it home to plant it.

Keyboard: arrow keys or WASD move and dig, and holding a key keeps going. Press H to walk home along your tunnels.
Touch or mouse: use the arrow pad, or tap a tile next to the mole to move or dig that way. Tap a tunnel you have already dug to walk there.
Use the Shop and treasure shelf buttons at the top, the Home button beside the arrow pad, and the toolbar for pause, help, restart, optional sound and fullscreen.

How to play Burrow Down
Dig down through a garden one tile at a time, collect buried treasure and head home before your energy runs out. Sell your finds, buy better gear and reach the Star Seed at the bottom.
