CozyWorld Village

Patch notes

What's new in the village, update by update. These notes cover the things you can do, see and collect; small fixes and behind-the-scenes changes are left out.

Version 1.1

Plaques and the Village Scrapbook

What your village builds together now stays on record: a brass plaque naming the builders on every finished town project, and a scrapbook of everything the village has done.

Built by plaques

Every finished town project, the Old Market Garden, the Willow Park Boathouse and the bandstand, now has a brass plaque under its sign engraved with the neighbors who built it, the most helpful first. Open the project's panel at its sign, or from the noticeboard, to see who built it, with your own name shown as You.

The village scrapbook

Open the village scrapbook from the noticeboard to look back over everything your village has done together, newest first: every stage of every town project and who helped most, the festivals, each week's village order filled, and the first fish anyone in the village landed. What your village did before this update is already in it.

Pin your postcards

After you take a photo postcard, you can pin it to the scrapbook for everyone in your village to see. The scrapbook shows the message side of the card, with where it is from, your caption and the stamp, but never the picture itself. You can have three postcards up at a time, the scrapbook keeps the newest twelve, and you can take your own down whenever you like.

Version 1.0

The Bandstand

The village's third town project. Rebuild the old bandstand on the green with your neighbors, then come out on a Saturday evening to hear the village band play.

Build the bandstand together

An old eight-sided stone base sits on the green between Finn's cottage and the square. Once your village has finished the boathouse, it becomes the next town project, and everyone in the village helps rebuild it in four stages.

First lay the floor with planks. Then raise the roof, with more planks and shells or sea glass from Cove Beach to hang from the eaves. Dress it with flowers for a hanging basket on every post and bouquets for the rails, and Beatrice puts up her bunting. Last, hold the opening concert: bring dishes from Oliver's oven and drinks from the Driftwood for two picnic blankets on the grass. Every delivery appears on the bandstand piece by piece, for the whole village to see, and everyone who helped is paid when a stage is done.

Saturday night concerts

Once it is open, the village band plays at the bandstand every evening of the village's Saturday, from 8 to 9:30 PM village time: Rosa on the ukulele, Silas on his squeezebox and Oliver on the drum. A village day is much shorter than a real one, so on a Saturday the band plays again and again, and anyone who drops in catches a concert within the hour. For the first day after your village opens the bandstand, it plays every evening.

At twenty to eight the village drops what it is doing and walks over. Martha and Finn dance in front of the steps, Beatrice and Sadie settle on the picnic blankets, and Rosa chats between songs. The band has three tunes of its own, Saturday on the Green, The Kittiwake Waltz and Lanterns on the Green, and everyone in your village hears the same bar at the same moment. Walk closer and the band gets louder; dance and cheer along with your emotes.

Concert stamps and the band's music box

Listen near the bandstand for a little while to earn the day's concert stamp. Collect four and Rosa gives you the band's keepsake: a little bandstand music box for a table in your cottage.

The noticeboard has a new Concerts section with your stamp card and when the band plays next, once a week Rosa's note in your mailbox says when the band plays, and while the band is playing your next step points you to the green.

Before 1.0

CozyWorld Village opened to everyone on October 16, 2026. By version 1.0 the village already had cottages to furnish and gardens to grow, fishing at the pond and the harbor, beachcombing on Cove Beach, pets from Sadie's Pet Shop, the Driftwood beach bar, fireworks over the bay, residents who keep their own hours and write you letters, the first two town projects, the Harvest Supper and the four holidays. You could invite friends with a link, share an open village with other new villagers and send photo postcards. The about the game page describes all of it.
